TWA  - Teenie weenie afro  TA  -  Teenie afro  Protective styling - wearing your hair in protective styles eg.braids, wigs, twists & buns, in order to give your hair a break & protect it from damage caused by frequent styling & over-handling  Braid out  -  Plaiting your hair using 3 parts while hair is damp, allowing hair to dry then undoing the plaits and separating them and wearing the separated plaits as a hair style  WL - waist-length (hair) APL - Armpit length BSL - Bra-strap lengthTwist out  -  Make twists using 2 parts of hair per twist, then follow the same preparation method as braid outs  ACV  - Apple cider vinegar  EO  -  Essential oils  EVOO - Extra virgin olive oil  WNG - Wash and go ( washing your hair & letting it airdry naturally without styling or combing)  LIC - leave in conditioner  Pre-poo - applying oil base to your hair prior to shampooing to lessen moisture loss  Co-wash - Washing your hair with conditioner as opposed to with shampoo  PJ - Product junkie!  Nappyversary! - anniversary for natural hair milestones
